INGREDIENTS and ALLERGIES
Your Wellness
Over the counter and prescription drugs contain what is referred to as the "active ingredients" (the drug) and "inactive ingredients". The inactive ingredients may also be referred to as the "fillers". Many of these inactive ingredients are not natural. New Century Compounding offers a more natural compounded formulation using the same medication with less allergens and customized compounding for your family and/or pets needs.
Many inactive ingredients have been shown to cause allergies, asthma and/or other health problems in certain individuals when others may not show symptoms until later. Some of these inactive ingredients may immediately or later be recognized by the body as a foreign substance possibly causing your immune system to result with unwanted responses. New Century Compounding understands that many individuals are sensitive to modified starches, food and drug dyes and other artficial ingredients that are commonly used in foods and drugs i.e. Xanthan Gum, sodium benzoate, Saccharin and many others. Many starches are treated with organisms and chemicals which result in residues that later become ingested.
